Me and my brother have always loved horror games and anything to do with getting the #@!* scared out of us and ofcourse having some cocktails! Matt Yes my buddy Mathew. Matt has influenced every aspect of my music listening. He likes alot of industrial and gothic music. His themes defenietly enhance my CD collection and ofcourse he likes to drink beer! Oh and Amber is his women..she has a gigantic rabbit,actualy she HAD a giant rabbit...its now missing in action...sorry Amber. Andy Andy....Andy is just this little dude that smokes and drinks way to damn much! Andy is cool though,especialy when him and Rachel are together. There both freakin nuts! If it wasnt for Andy though who knows where I would be...hes a good friend to talk to about ANYTHING and Rachel (his chick) is just fun to be around..shes nuts! Mom If it wasnt for me and my mom watching every cheezy horror movie that came on early Saturday afternoon I probaly would never have had an obsession with horror films,games, or anything like that. Me and my mom watched horror films every chance we got. She always got into Halloween with me too! Thanks Mom! |

Why did you create Dark Awakening? |
Well thats a tough question. When I first started creating Dark Awakening, I was just making a very simple point and click base game for my girlfriend Kelley to play. After I got started with just a few scenes I began to imagine this whole world and storyline to the game. It very soon evolved into a game with a twisted storyline and suprise endings and all. Me and Kelley used to talk about the storyline...coming up with different scenarios and problems for you as the main character could interact with. You see Ive always been a fan of horror movies and I used to love making up my own ghost stories and sharing them with neighborhood kids. So, I guess making the game just came naturaly. I had all these ideas in my head and just needed a way to express them so I used the internet to get my story across to everyone interested. |
Why did you use MS Paint? |
Money. Paint Shop Pro would have been nice ofcours...but, this is just a samll hobby of mine..at the time this project was started i had very little knowledge of what was out there to use in the computer world. So, I used what I had..MS Paint! Using MS Paint hasnt really been that bad. The graphics are simple to download and upload so it actualy worked out best this way. Now if I could start all over again..Yes..I would have use Paint Shop Pro or a similar program. |

dMy fiance(was just my girl friend when D.A. started) Kelley has always stuck with me in my idea of creating this site. If it wasnt for her not yelling at me every time I was working on this stuff I would probaly never fully complete this game. She helped out with alot of the character ideas and puzzles. We are finaly getting maried in 2002! Kelley is my best friend and without her believing in me I could never acomplish all I have. |
